Kayvon Namvar has nearly two decades of experience serving life sciences, healthcare, technology and other IP-based companies as an independent consultant, as well as a contract Chief Financial Officer and VP Finance. Mr. Namvar has worked with hundreds of private and public operating companies, as well as their investors.

In the relevant industries, Mr. Namvar has forecast and valued products, patents, companies, complex securities and royalty interests for transaction, internal planning, litigation, bankruptcy, tax and accounting-oriented purposes.

Mr. Namvar has served as contract Chief Financial Officer and VP Finance with emphasis on strategic finance for oncology, longevity, digital health, and 3D printing companies.

Mr. Namvar has also served as an expert witness in matters involving economic damages and valuation.

Mr. Namvar has invested in a number of private companies mostly in the life sciences and healthcare industry. These investments have primarily been at the Seed, Series A and Series B stages.

Prior to founding Elm Innovation Advisors, Mr. Namvar was at RNA Advisors, FTI Consulting, BPM, and The Salter Group.

Mr. Namvar holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Corporate Finance from the University of Southern California (USC). Mr. Namvar has been a guest lecturer and presenter on corporate finance subjects at his alma mater, as well as other universities.
